A STUDENT BAKE SALE ALMOST LEADS TO A RACE RIOT,
A NEW ART TEACHER BEGINS HIS FIRST DAY AT WINSLOW,
AND A 28-YEAR-OLD WANTS TO GRADUATE
ON "BOSTON PUBLIC" FRIDAY, JAN. 23, ON FOX

When the "Young Conservatives Club" holds a bake sale to show their view on
affirmative action, the school sits poised on the verge of a race riot.
Relations among the students reach a boiling point, so the teachers hold a
debate in front of the entire student body to discuss the pros and cons of
affirmative action. Meanwhile, Henry Preston, a new art teacher in his first day
on the job, struggles with the budgetary restraints that come with public school
teaching; and a 28-year-old former student decides to finally get her diploma,
but she must repeat Lipschultz's history class to graduate in the "Chapter
Seventy-Eight" episode of BOSTON PUBLIC Friday, Jan. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on
